1.1 Information you provide

• Account information: your email address, used to create and authenticate your account.
• Birth and profile details: the name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth (including latitude and longitude), and gender you enter to generate astrological calculations. You may create profiles for yourself and family members.
• Questions and content: the questions you submit to the AI Pandit feature and the profile each question relates to.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device location: with your permission, your approximate or precise location, used only to compute accurate Panchangam timings for your area. You can decline or revoke this at any time in your device settings.
• Usage data: feature usage, request counts and quota, and basic diagnostic information needed to operate and improve the Service.

1.3 Payment information

When you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by our third-party payment processors (Razorpay for web purchases and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases). We do not collect or store your full card numbers or banking credentials. We receive only limited payment metadata (such as a transaction reference and subscription status) needed to provision your entitlement.

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Generate astrological calculations, charts, dashas, doshas, match analysis, and Panchangam timings;
• Provide the AI Pandit guidance feature grounded in your selected profile;
• Authenticate you, maintain your account, and sync your saved profiles across devices;
• Process subscriptions and manage feature entitlements and usage quotas;
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
• Communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. AI Pandit Conversations and Model Improvement

We may use AI Pandit conversations to evaluate and improve the quality of our AI guidance and to train or fine-tune AI models. Where used for model improvement, conversations are processed in a manner that does not include personally identifying information. You may opt out of having your conversations used for model improvement at any time from your settings within the app.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (e.g., for location access); the performance of a contract (to deliver the features you request); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to deliver the Service, and only to the extent necessary:

• Astrology calculation provider — receives the birth details required to compute charts and Panchangam.
• AI processing providers — receive your question and the relevant chart facts to generate guidance.
• Media & content delivery provider — hosts and streams content.
• Payment processors (Razorpay; Google Play Billing) — process your subscription payments.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain certain information longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

7. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to request a copy of your data. You can also edit or delete your profiles within the app, manage location permissions in your device settings, and opt out of AI model improvement in your settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

11. Nature of the Service

Rasavani provides astrological and spiritual content for guidance, reflection, and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Any decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
